The FLOCK 4Y-1 satellite, also known as Alt Name: Flock 4y-1, is a CubeSat (3U) configuration manufactured by PLAN and owned by the same entity. Launched on January 3, 2023, from LC40 at AFETR using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, it has dimensions of 0.3m length, 0.1m diameter, and 0.3m span with a dry mass and launch mass both recorded as 5.7 kg. The satellite is powered by solar cells and batteries and is equipped with either PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload as its main equipment, designated for technology-related purposes. Its mission involves the Dove 2415 payload. It operates in a box shape with two panel configurations without any recorded RCS or ADCS information. The expected lifetime of FLOCK 4Y-1 is approximately one year if placed in an ISS orbit and between two to three years in Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO).
