The FLOCK 4X-18 satellite, also known as Flock 4x-18, is a CubeSat (3U) configuration manufactured by PLAN and owned by the same entity. It was launched on January 13, 2022, from the AFETR launch site LC40 aboard a Falcon 9 rocket. The satellite measures 0.3 meters in length, has a diameter of 0.1 meters, and spans 0.3 meters. Its dry mass is 5.7 kilograms, identical to its launch mass. It is equipped with a PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload named Dove 249d for technology demonstration purposes. The power system consists of solar cells and batteries. FLOCK 4X-18's expected lifetime varies from about one year in an ISS orbit to two to three years in Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO).
