FLOCK 4Y-24 is a CubeSat (3U) technology satellite manufactured by PLAN and owned by the same entity. It was launched on January 3, 2023, from Launch Complex 40 at AFETR using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length and diameter, and spans 0.3 meters across. Weighing 5.7 kilograms both dry and at launch, it is equipped with PS0, PS1, or PS2 imaging payload known as Dove 24b9. It uses solar cells and batteries for power and has a mission lifetime of approximately 1 year when in ISS orbit and up to 3 years when in Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO). The satellite's shape consists of a box with two panels and it is intended for technology demonstration purposes.
