The DRAGON CRS-31 satellite, also known as Dragon CRS-31, is owned and operated by SPX (Space Exploration Technologies). It was launched on November 5, 2024, from LC39A at the AFETR site using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 5.3 meters in length, 3.7 meters in diameter, and spans 16.5 meters. It has a dry mass of 9,000 kilograms and a launch mass of 10,000 kilograms. Equipped with 18 Draco thrusters for propulsion and solar cells along with batteries for power, its mission is to supply and return cargo. The shape of the satellite is described as frustum plus cylindrical (Frust + Cyl).
