The ASTROCAST-0102 satellite, also known as Astrocast-0102, is a 3U CubeSat configured as a box-shaped structure with dimensions of 0.3 meters in length and 0.1 meters in diameter. Launched on January 24, 2021, from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station's LC40 pad using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, it was manufactured by ACAST for communication purposes, specifically M2M/IoT applications. The satellite has a dry mass and launch mass of 5 kilograms each. Its power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries. Launched from the United States under Swiss ownership, the satellite carries the Astrocast-1.x2 payload and is designed to support communication missions in its operational lifetime.
