The satellite FLOCK 4A-5 (also known as Flock 4a-5) is a CubeSat (3U) configured spacecraft manufactured by PLAN and launched on April 1, 2019, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre using the PSLV-QL launch vehicle. With dimensions of 0.3 meters in length and diameter, and a span of 0.3 meters, it has a dry mass of 5.7 kilograms and was launched with an identical launch mass. Its primary purpose is technology demonstration, equipped with either PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload known as Dove 2227 for Earth observation. The satellite's power supply consists of solar cells and batteries. It operates in either the ISS orbit (~1 year lifetime) or Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO, 2-3 years lifetime).
