IRIDIUM 118, also known as Iridium Next SV118, is a communication and traffic monitoring satellite owned by IRIDS and manufactured by OATKGA. It was launched on June 25, 2017, from AFWTR using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle from SLC4E. The satellite has dimensions of 3.1 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and spans 9.4 meters. Its dry mass is 700 kg with a launch mass of 860 kg. Equipped with L-band payload, Ka-band cross-links and downlinks, and an ADS-B payload (among others), IRIDIUM 118 has a design lifetime of 10 years but is planned for operation up to 15 years.
