BEESAT-4, also known as BEESAT 4, is a CubeSat (1U) satellite manufactured by TUB and owned by TUB. It was launched on June 22, 2016, from the SRILR site using the PSLV-XL launch vehicle. The satellite stabilized in orbit on September 9, 2016. BEESAT-4 has a length, diameter, and span of 0.1 meters each and a dry mass of 1 kilogram. It is powered by solar cells and batteries and has a reflective surface area (RCS) of 0.038 square meters. The satellite's shape is box-like and it weighs the same at launch as its dry mass, indicating no additional fuel or consumables were carried beyond its operational needs.
