PERSEUS 000, also known as Perseus 000, is a CubeSat (1.5 U) satellite operated by SOCOM/LANL for technology purposes. Launched on December 8, 2010, from Launch Complex 40 at the Air Force Eastern Test Range using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, it has dimensions of 0.2 meters in length and span with a diameter of 0.1 meters. The satellite weighs 2 kilograms both dry and at launch. It uses batteries for power and is shaped like a box with an RCS (Reflective Cross Section) of 0.0382 square meters. Its manufacturer is LANL, and it carries the payload designated as LANL Cubesat 0.
