COSMOS 2254, also known as Kosmos-2254, is a military communication satellite launched on June 24, 1993, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome (PLMSC) using LC32/1 launch pad by a Tsiklon-3 launch vehicle. The spacecraft, manufactured by NPOPM and operated by VKS, has dimensions of 1.6 meters in length, 0.8 meters in diameter, and a span of 7 meters. It has a dry mass of 225 kilograms, which is the same as its launch mass.
