COSMOS 1669 (also known as Kosmos-1669) is a cargo spacecraft launched on July 19, 1985, from the Tyuratam Space Centre's Launch Pad LC1 using a Soyuz-U launch vehicle by NPOE. The satellite has dimensions of 7.9 meters in length and diameter, with a span of 7.9 meters, and weighs approximately 4800 kilograms dry. Its primary mission is to carry cargo in space. Equipped with batteries for power supply, it features a unique shape described as Sphere + Cone + Cyl + Pan, with an RCS (Reaction Control System) capacity of 27.05. The Progress 7K-TG No. 126 payload was carried by this satellite, which also used the KTDU-80 motor for propulsion.
