COSMOS 1319 (also known as Kosmos-1319) was a reconnaissance satellite launched by GUKOS on November 13, 1981, from LC31 at the TYMSC launch site using a Soyuz-U launch vehicle. It is based on the Zenit-6 bus and has dimensions of 6 meters in length and diameter of 2.2 meters with a span of 6 meters. The satellite had a dry mass of 2655 kg and was equipped with batteries for power supply. Its mission involved reconnaissance using photo (film return type) technology, specifically the Argon No. 57L payload. It was shaped as a sphere with a DCone attachment and was operational for approximately 14 days post-launch. The spacecraft was manufactured by TSSKB and utilized engines like the 11D82M and S5.120 (maneuver module) for propulsion.
