The satellite has dimensions of approximately 5 meters in length with a diameter of 2.1 meters and a span of 17 meters. It was manufactured by OAZ and had a dry mass of 800 kilograms, which is also its launch mass. Its primary mission was navigation and it carried the Tsikada payload.
