The STARLINK-30901 satellite, also known as Starlink 30901, is a communication spacecraft under the Starlink v2 Mini configuration and part of the Starlink V2M bus series. Launched on November 18, 2023, from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (AFETR) using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, it weighs approximately 730 kg at launch with a dry mass of 700 kg. The satellite measures 0.3 meters in length and has a diameter of 4.1 meters and a span of 29 meters. It is equipped with Ku/Ka/E-band payload capabilities and an optical inter-satellite link, powered by solar arrays and batteries. Its propulsion system includes Argon ion thrusters for orbital maneuvers. The satellite was manufactured by SpaceX (SPXS) and owned by the same entity.
