The STARLINK-4785 satellite, also known as Starlink 4785, is part of the Starlink Group 4-34-48 communication constellation and was launched on September 19, 2022, from Launch Pad LC40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 0.2 meters in length, 2.8 meters in diameter, and spans 9 meters when deployed. It weighs approximately 305 kilograms at launch and 290 kilograms dry mass. Equipped with Ku/Ka-band payload and optical inter-satellite link for communication purposes, it uses solar arrays and batteries for power generation and Krypton ion thrusters for propulsion. The satellite's design consists of a box shape with an extended panel. Manufactured by SpaceX (SPXS), the spacecraft operates under SpaceX ownership.
