NACHOS-2 is a 3U CubeSat satellite launched by LANL on July 2, 2022, from Wallops Flight Facility (WRAS) using the LauncherOne launch vehicle from Launch Pad RW12/30. It measures 0.3 meters in length and 0.1 meters in diameter with a span of 0.3 meters. The satellite has a dry mass of 6 kilograms and was launched at the same mass, indicating no change in weight post-launch. NACHOS-2 is powered by four deployable fixed solar arrays and batteries and serves technology demonstration purposes for its lifespan of 3 to 5 years. Its shape consists of a box with four panels, and it operates under LANL's ownership and management.
