The ONEWEB-0299 satellite, also known as OneWeb SL0299, is a communication satellite designed and manufactured by ONEWUS for UK-based owner ONEWEBN. Launched on August 21, 2021, from the TYMSC launch site using a Soyuz-2-1B launch vehicle from LC31, it became stable one day later. The satellite has a configuration known as Arrow bus and carries a Ku-Band payload for its communication mission. It measures 1.3 meters in length with a diameter of 1 meter and a span of 5 meters when fully deployed. Its dry mass is 140 kg, while the launch mass was 148 kg. Equipped with solar arrays and batteries for power supply, it uses SPT-50 or BHT-350 Hall effect thrusters as its motor system. The expected operational lifetime of this satellite is seven years.
