LEMUR-2-MERIMA, also known as Lemur-2 Merima, is a 3U CubeSat satellite manufactured by SPIREG and owned by Spire. It was launched on June 30, 2021, from the Air Force Eastern Test Range (AFETR) at Launch Pad LC40 aboard a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length, 0.1 meters in diameter, and spans 0.3 meters, with both dry mass and launch mass being 4.6 kilograms. It is powered by solar cells and batteries and carries equipment including STRATOS (GPS radio occultation payload), SENSE (AIS-receiver), and AirSafe (ASD-B payload). The satellite's shape consists of a box with two panels, and it operates within the Lemur payload system for its mission.
