SHENZHOU-12 (SZ-12), also known as Shenzhou 12, is a crewed spacecraft launched by CMSEO on June 17, 2021, from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center using the Chang Zheng 2F launch vehicle. The satellite features a configuration consisting of a service module, return module, and an orbital module with a docking collar. It measures 9.3 meters in length and has a diameter of 3.2 meters with a span of 17 meters. The spacecraft has a dry mass of 3,240 kilograms, the same as its launch mass. Its power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries. SHENZHOU-12 is equipped with four retro motors for maneuvering in space and carries Shenzhou 12 Fanhui Cang as payload. The satellite's shape can be described as cylindrical with two panels attached, manufactured by CALT.
