SPACEBEE-55, also known as SpaceBEE-55, is a 0.25U CubeSat communication satellite launched by SWARM on January 24, 2021, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's LC40 using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite measures 0.025 meters in length with a diameter of 0.1 meters and a span of 0.9 meters. It has a dry mass of 0.284 kilograms, identical to its launch mass. Equipped with solar cells and batteries for power supply, SPACEBEE-55 is designed for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) communication purposes, featuring a box shape with two antennas. The satellite was manufactured by SWARM and owned by the same entity.
