MITEE-1 (MiTEE 1) is a CubeSat (3U) technology demonstration satellite launched by UMI on January 17, 2021, from the Wallops Flight Facility using the LauncherOne launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length and 0.1 meters in diameter with a span of 10 meters when deployed, and it weighs approximately 3 kilograms at dry mass and launch mass. It is equipped with a miniature electrodynamic tether system and solar cells for power generation, along with batteries. The satellite's shape is described as box+boom configuration. Launched from the WRAS site using LauncherOne, its mission focuses on technology demonstration.
