BOBCAT-1, also known as Bobcat 1, is a CubeSat (3U) technology satellite manufactured and owned by OHIOU in the United States. It was launched on November 20, 1998, from TYMSC Pad 0A using an Antares 230+ launch vehicle. The satellite measures 0.3 meters in length and span with a diameter of 0.1 meter and has a dry mass of 4 kilograms, the same as its launch mass. BOBCAT-1 is powered by solar cells and batteries and operates in space for technology purposes. Its shape is box-like, and it stabilized on November 5, 2020.
