YARILO 1, also known as Yarilo-1, is a CubeSat (1.5U) satellite designed for scientific research on the ionosphere. It was launched by BAUM on September 28, 2020, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome using a Soyuz-2-1B launch vehicle from Launch Pad LC43/4. The satellite measures 0.2 meters in length and has a diameter of 0.1 meters with a span of 0.2 meters. YARILO 1 weighs 2 kilograms at both dry mass and launch mass. It is equipped with solar cells and batteries for power supply, and its shape consists of a box with two panels. The satellite's mission is focused on science and ionosphere studies.
