GALAXY 30 (G-30), also known as Galaxy 30, is a communication satellite owned by INTELU and manufactured by NGISD. It was launched on August 15, 2020, from the ELA3 pad at FRGUI using an Ariane 5ECA+ launch vehicle. The satellite features a GEOStar-2 Bus configuration and carries C-, Ku-, and Ka-band payloads along with a WAAS payload for communication purposes. It has dimensions of approximately 5 meters in length, 2.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 23 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. At launch, it had a mass of 3298 kg and a dry mass of 2500 kg. The satellite is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. Its mission lifetime is expected to be 15 years.
