CIRIS (also known as CIRiS) is a 6U CubeSat technology satellite owned and manufactured by USU (Utah State University). It was launched on November 2, 2019, from Wallops Island Launch Pad LC40 aboard a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite measures 0.2 meters in length with a span and diameter of 0.3 meters each, and has a dry mass and launch mass of 10 kilograms. It is equipped with BESST equipment and powered by two deployable fixed solar arrays and batteries.
