DRAGON CRS-17, also known as Dragon CRS-17, is a spacecraft with a bus configuration of Dragon CM manufactured by SPX and owned by SPX. It was launched on May 4, 2019, from LC40 at AFETR using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 5.3 meters in length, 3.7 meters in diameter, and 16.5 meters in span with a dry mass of 4700 kg and a launch mass of 5427 kg. It is equipped with 18 Draco thrusters for propulsion, two deployable solar arrays, and batteries for power. The spacecraft's mission is to supply and return cargo, and its shape consists of a frustum, cylinder, and two panels.
