The CSIM-FD satellite, identified by NORAD as CAT ID 43793 and OBJECT_ID 2018-099AM, is a CubeSat (6U) manufactured by BLCAN for the CLASP organization. Launched on December 3, 2018, from AFWTR SLC4E using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, CSIM-FD has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length and 0.2 meters in diameter with a span of 1.3 meters. The satellite weighs 10 kilograms both at launch and dry mass. It is equipped with two deployable fixed solar arrays and batteries for power generation.
