Summary
STPSAT-5, also known as STPSat-5, is a technology demonstration satellite owned by Space Test Program (STP) and was launched on December 3, 2018, from the AFWTR SLC4E pad using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite uses an SN-50 bus configuration and was manufactured by SNVL. It has dimensions of 1 meter in length, 0.4 meters in diameter, and a span of 2 meters. STPSAT-5 has a dry mass of 100 kilograms and launched with a total mass of 110 kilograms. The satellite is equipped with SIRI, RAMS, iMESA-R, RHEME, HALO-Net equipment, powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries, and uses four cold gas N2 thrusters for its propulsion system.
