The FLOCK 3R-3 satellite, also known as Flock 3r-3, is a CubeSat (3U) technology demonstration satellite launched on November 29, 2018, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre using a PSLV launch vehicle. Manufactured by Planet Labs (PLAN), it has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length and diameter, with a span of 0.3 meters. The satellite weighs approximately 4.7 kilograms both at launch and dry mass. It is equipped with PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload technology known as Dove 105d and powered by solar cells and batteries. Its expected lifetime ranges from about one year in an ISS orbit to two to three years in a sun-synchronous orbit (SSO). The satellite's shape consists of a box with two panels for its operational design.
