KIPP (2018-008C) is a CubeSat 3U technology satellite manufactured by CLAAC and owned by KEPLER. Launched on January 19, 2018, from JSC LC43/95 using the Chang Zheng 11 launch vehicle, KIPP has a length of 0.3 meters, a diameter of 0.1 meters, and a span of 0.3 meters. It carries a dry mass of 3 kilograms and had a launch mass of 3 kilograms as well. The satellite is equipped with navigation, communication, imaging, AIS-receiver, and amateur radio payloads powered by solar cells and batteries. Its shape consists of a box with two panels and its purpose is to conduct technology-related missions in space.
