VENUS (also known as Venmus) is an Earth observation satellite operated by ISA/CNES, manufactured by IAI and based on the TECSAR Bus configuration. Launched from Guiana Space Center using a Vega launch vehicle on August 2, 2017, VENUS has dimensions of 1.7 meters in length, 1.2 meters in diameter, and spans 4.5 meters. The satellite's dry mass is 250 kilograms with a launch mass of 264 kilograms. It is powered by two deployable fixed solar arrays along with batteries and uses the HET-300 motor for propulsion.
