FLOCK 3P-44 is a CubeSat (3U) satellite launched on February 15, 2017, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre using the PSLV-XL launch vehicle by PLAN for technology demonstration purposes. The satellite measures 0.3 meters in length and has a diameter of 0.1 meter with a span of 0.3 meters, equipped with solar cells and batteries for power. It weighs 4.7 kilograms both at launch and dry mass. FLOCK 3P-44 is designed to operate in either an ISS orbit (~1 year) or Sun-Synchronous Orbit (2-3 years). The satellite carries a PS0, PS1, or PS2 imaging payload designated as Dove 1019 for Earth observation and is owned by PLAN.
