FLOCK 3P-16 is a CubeSat (3U) satellite launched on February 15, 2017, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre using the PSLV-XL launch vehicle. It was manufactured by PLAN and owned by the same entity, with the primary purpose being technology demonstration. The satellite measures 0.3 meters in length and has a span of 0.3 meters, weighing approximately 4.7 kilograms at launch and dry mass. Equipped with solar cells and batteries for power, it carries a PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload known as Dove 100E. Its operational lifetime is estimated to be around one year in an International Space Station orbit and two to three years in Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO). The satellite has no motor except for the FEEP variant (#Flock-3p').
