FLOCK 3P-3 is a CubeSat (3U) satellite designed and manufactured by PLAN in the United States. It was launched on February 15, 2017, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre using a PSLV-XL launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length, 0.1 meters in diameter, and 0.3 meters in span with a dry mass and launch mass both at 4.7 kilograms. It is equipped with PS0, PS1, or PS2 imaging payload technology for Earth observation purposes, powered by solar cells and batteries. The mission's purpose is technological advancement, primarily focusing on imagery capture using the Dove 1002 payload. The expected lifetime of FLOCK 3P-3 varies from about a year in an International Space Station orbit to two to three years in Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO).
