The FLOCK 3P-19 satellite, also known as Alt Name: Flock 3p-19, is a CubeSat (3U) technology mission satellite launched on February 15, 2017, from the SRILR launch site using the PSLV-XL launch vehicle. Manufactured by PLAN and owned by PLAN, it measures 0.3 meters in length and 0.1 meters in diameter with a span of 0.3 meters. The satellite has a dry mass of 4.7 kilograms and was launched at the same mass. It is equipped with solar cells and batteries for power generation and features a Dove 1024 imaging payload. Its shape resembles a box with two panels, and it has an RCS (Reflectivity Coefficient Size) value of 0.058. The mission's purpose is technological advancement, particularly in Earth observation through its PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging capabilities. The satellite's expected lifetime varies depending on the orbit; it can last approximately one year when placed in the International Space Station (ISS) orbit and two to three years when in Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO).
