Summary
PATHFINDER 1, also known as Pathfinder 1, is an Earth Observation satellite owned by BSKG and operated under the BlackSky Pathfinder 1 mission. It was launched on September 26, 2016, from SRILR launch site using PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) from FLP (First Launch Pad). The satellite has a SCOUT bus configuration with dimensions of 1 meter in length and diameter, and 1 meter span. It weighs 44 kilograms both at launch and dry mass. PATHFINDER 1 is equipped with SpaceView-24 imager for its Earth Observation mission and uses solar cells along with batteries for power supply. The satellite has a box shape and a RCS (Reflective Cross Section) of 0.375 square meters. Its operational lifetime was planned to be up to three years. The spacecraft was manufactured by SFLIN (Space Flight Laboratory, University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies).
