FLOCK 2E-12 is a CubeSat (3U) satellite developed and owned by PLABS in the United States. It was launched on November 20, 1998, from the T.Y. Meyers State Complex using an Atlas V 401 launch vehicle from Launch Pad SLC41. The satellite has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length, 0.1 meters in diameter, and a span of 0.3 meters. It has a dry mass and launch mass of 5 kg each. FLOCK 2E-12 is equipped with PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload known as Dove 0C79 for technology purposes. The satellite was stabilized on May 10, 2016, and its expected lifetime ranges from about 1 year in ISS orbit to 2-3 years in Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO). It uses solar cells and batteries for power generation.
