FLOCK 2E'-1 is a CubeSat (3U) satellite launched by PLABS on November 20, 1998, from the TYMSC launch site using an Atlas V 401 launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length and 0.1 meters in diameter with a span of 0.3 meters. The satellite weighs 5 kilograms both at launch and dry mass. Equipped with PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload technology under the Dove 0D05 mission, it utilizes solar cells and batteries for power. Its primary purpose is to serve as a technological demonstrator. FLOCK 2E'-1 has a shape described as Box+2 pan and a radar cross-section (RCS) of 0.064 square meters. The expected operational lifetime ranges from approximately 1 year in an ISS orbit to 2-3 years in sun-synchronous orbit (SSO).
