STMSAT-1, also known as STMSat 1, is a CubeSat (1U) satellite manufactured by STMS and launched on November 20, 1998, from the TYSMC launch site using an Atlas V 401 vehicle from SLC41. The spacecraft measures 0.1 meters in length, diameter, and span with a dry mass of 1 kilogram. It is equipped with solar cells and batteries for power and carries a camera as its primary payload. STMSAT-1 was launched to serve educational purposes and reached stability on May 16, 2016. The satellite has a box shape and an RCS of 0.0694. Its manufacturer, owner, and operator are all designated as STMS.
