The FLOCK 2B-2 satellite, also known as Flock 2b-2, is a CubeSat (3U) technology mission satellite manufactured by PLABS and owned by the same entity. It was launched on November 20, 1998, from TYMSC Launch Site Y2 using an H-IIB launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 0.3 meters in length and diameter, with a span of 0.3 meters. Weighing approximately 5 kilograms at launch, it carries a PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload named Dove 0C18. Its power is derived from solar cells and batteries. The satellite has a calculated RCS of 0.079 and is shaped as a box with two panels. It was stabilized by October 6, 2015, after its launch. The expected lifetime varies between about one year for an ISS orbit or 2-3 years for SSO (Sun-Synchronous Orbit).
