Summary
The COSMOS 2503 satellite, also known as Kosmos-2503, is a reconnaissance satellite launched on February 27, 2015, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome LC43/4 launch pad using a Soyuz-2-1A rocket. It was manufactured by ARSLO and operated by VVKOV for optical reconnaissance purposes. The spacecraft has dimensions of 6 meters in length, 2.7 meters in diameter, and spans 10 meters with its solar arrays deployed. Its dry mass is 3500 kg, while the launch mass was 3700 kg.
