USA 257 (CLIO), also known as NEMESIS 2, is a satellite owned by the National Reconnaissance Office (NROC) and manufactured by LMCSS. It was launched on September 17, 2014, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's SLC-41 launch pad using an Atlas V 401 launch vehicle. The satellite is configured as A2100A with a bus type of A2100 and has dimensions of 5 meters in length, 2.2 meters in diameter, and a span of 26 meters. It weighs 3400 kg at launch and has a dry mass of 1500 kg. Its primary mission involves SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) and COMINT (Communications Intelligence). The satellite is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries and features a shape described as Box + 2 Pan with the Leros 1C motor for propulsion.
