FLOCK 1B-25 is a CubeSat (3U) technology satellite with specifications including a length of 0.3 meters and a diameter of 0.1 meters, manufactured by PLABS in the US. It was launched on November 20, 1998, from the TYSMC Pad 0A using an Antares 120 launch vehicle. The satellite has a dry mass of 4.5 kg and is powered by solar cells with battery storage. Equipped with a PS0, PS1 or PS2 imaging payload known as Dove 0818, its mission focuses on technology purposes, operating in either an ISS orbit (with a lifespan of approximately one year) or a Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO), where it can operate for 2-3 years. The satellite has a box shape with two panels and is identified by NORAD CAT ID 40125.
