The DRAGON CRS-3 satellite, also known as Dragon CRS-3, is an American spacecraft designed for supply and return missions to space stations. It was launched on April 18, 2014, from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 5.3 meters in length, 3.7 meters in diameter, and a span of 16.5 meters when solar arrays are deployed. It weighs 7,400 kg both at launch and dry mass. Equipped with 18 Draco thrusters for maneuvering, the satellite uses two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply. Manufactured by SPX, Dragon CRS-3 was owned and operated by SpaceX (SPX) to deliver supplies and return items from orbit.
