The SOYUZ-TMA 12M (also known as Soyuz TMA-12M) is a crewed spacecraft launched on March 25, 2014, from the Tyuratam Space Center using a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 7.9 meters in length and 2.7 meters in diameter with a span of 10.6 meters. It was manufactured by RKKE (Research and Production Enterprise) for the mission of transporting crew to space stations. Equipped with two deployable fixed solar arrays and batteries, it weighs approximately 2900 kilograms at launch and in dry mass. The shape of SOYUZ-TMA 12M consists of a cylindrical section combined with conical, spherical, and panel components, designed for human spaceflight missions.
