It was launched on March 15, 2014, from the TYMSC launch site using a Proton-M/Briz-M vehicle from LC81/24 pad. The satellite has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 2 meters in diameter, and spans 15 meters with its solar arrays deployed. It carries 16 Ku-band transponders for communication purposes and is equipped with two deployable solar arrays that provide up to 3 kW (end-of-life) power, supported by batteries.
