UAPSAT 1 (also known as Flock 1-28) is a CubeSat satellite designated by NORAD CAT ID 39571 and OBJECT ID 1998-067EQ, launched on November 20, 1998. It was manufactured by PLABS in the US for technology and education purposes. The satellite measures 0.3 meters in length with a diameter of 0.1 meters and has a span of 0.3 meters. Its dry mass is 4.25 kg, which is also its launch mass. UAPSAT 1 was launched from TYMSC Pad 0A using the Antares 120 launch vehicle. The satellite's shape is described as "Box+2 pan" and it uses solar cells with batteries for power supply. Its RCS (Radiation Control Surface) value is recorded at 0.0997.
