LITUANICASAT-1 (LO-78), also known as LituanicaSAT-1, is a CubeSat 1U satellite launched on November 20, 1998, from the Tymshyvyl site in Ukraine using an Antares 120 launch vehicle. The satellite was manufactured by VILN/LKA and had a stable date of February 28, 2014. With dimensions of 0.1 meters in length, diameter, and span, it weighed 1 kilogram at launch and during dry mass. LituanicaSAT-1's mission focused on technology and education, utilizing solar cells and batteries for power. The satellite has a box shape with a radar cross-section (RCS) of 0.095 square meters. It was owned by VILN/LKA and operated as part of a single-payload mission named LituanicaSAT-1.
