USA 245, also known by its OBJECT_ID 2013-043A, is a reconnaissance satellite equipped for electro-optical surveillance, launched on August 28, 2013. It was manufactured by LMSS/NGAS and owned by NROC (National Reconnaissance Office). The spacecraft was launched from the AFWTR site using the Delta 4H launch vehicle from SLC6. Its dimensions include a length of 10 meters, diameter of 3.1 meters, and span of 10 meters. It had a dry mass of 10,500 kg and weighed 14,000 kg at launch. The satellite is configured with the Bus-1 motor and features deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply. Its payload includes an Enhanced CRYSTAL 2110 system designed to aid in its reconnaissance mission.
