Summary
NEOSSAT is an astronomy satellite, also known as NEOSSat, launched by CSA (Canadian Space Agency) on February 25, 2013, from the SRILR launch site using a PSLV launch vehicle from the FLP pad. The spacecraft uses the Multi-Mission Microsatellite Bus (MOST) and measures 1.8 meters in length with a diameter of 0.4 meters and a span of 1.8 meters. It has a dry mass of 74 kilograms, the same as its launch mass. NEOSSAT is equipped with a 15 cm telescope and photometer for astronomical observations. The satellite's power comes from solar cells and batteries, and it has a shape described as "Box + 1 pan." Its radar cross-section (RCS) is 0.377 square meters.
